Launched in 1990 in New York, PINK Magazine (Originally PINK PAGES) was the first magazine and community directory geared towards the gay market in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In 2006, PINK also launched a National edition of our quarterly magazine. PINK is truly the best regional advertising medium for targeting the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered community. PINK is free of sexually explicit advertising and editorial. PINK attracts well-known advertisers such as: American Express, Walter E. Smithe, Volvo, Nivea, Coors Beer, Bacardi, Jim Beam, Bristol-Myers, United Airlines, Absolut, Vox Vodka, and many more. PINK's Audience is the professional, educated, social, active and health-conscious gay and lesbian consumer. A recent study has estimated the buying power of the GLBT population in the U.S. will be $610 BILLION in 2005 (Witeck-Combs Communications and Packaged Facts). Distributing 200,000 free copies a year, PINK is now the largest gay and lesbian community directory in the nation.
